Is a photo of my prescription ever stored?

No. When you scan or upload a photo, it's read on your device and shown to you on the review screen for comparison, then discarded. Neither the photo nor the text read from it is ever sent to our servers or anyone else — only the fields you choose to save.

Is my first family member really free?

Yes. Your own medications and appointments, your first family member, and your first 2 pets are free with no subscription required. A Family Plan is only needed to add more. One plan covers up to 5 family members, including you and any children, and up to 5 pets, and everyone it covers can share with each other for free.

Who can see my allergies, conditions and vaccinations?

The same people as your other records. Allergies and conditions are shared along with your medications, and vaccinations along with your appointments — so someone you gave view access to your medications can also see your allergies and conditions, but not your vaccinations unless you also shared your appointments. Notes on them follow the same rule: anyone who can see a record can read and add notes, and notes are permanent.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Apple. On your device, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions to view, change, or cancel.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Account, and use Delete My Account under the Danger Zone section. You'll see what will be deleted, can tell us why you're leaving (optional), and tick that you understand before confirming with Apple. This permanently deletes your account and your own records, and they can't be recovered. Records you added about other family members stay with them, and your notes on their records stay. If you're the only guardian of a dependent or pet, you'll first be asked to choose who takes over. This does not cancel an active subscription; cancel that separately as described above.
